There was a lot of buzz in Sackville, N.S. Wednesday evening after area residents heard a loud explosion and spotted smoke on the horizon.
Fire crews arrived to find a shed fully engulfed in flames at the corner of Springfield Lake Road and Fenerty Road.
No one was hurt, but the shed was completely destroyed.
There were some auto-parts inside the structure and officials think they may have been the cause of the explosion.
"We believe what exploded is automobile tires. There was truck tires in the shed. No firefighters entered the actual building. It was a defensive situation on arrival,” says acting division commander Leonard McNabb.
There is no word on what sparked the blaze at this time, but the incident remains under investigation.
