A high school student was taken to hospital after an alleged stabbing just outside the front door of a Bridgewater, N.S. school Wednesday morning.
Police said the Bridgewater High School student sustained non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was injured.
“Like, he came into the school and wanted help so my teacher, I was in the library, and my teacher came over and helped him,” said student Adam Strickland.
The high school was placed on lockdown, along with Bridgewater Elementary School and Verge House. The lockdown was lifted Wednesday afternoon, but the school was kept in hold and secure status until dismissal.
There is no word on a possible suspect at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
