HALIFAX -- The Nova Scotia Liberals say a member of the legislature from Dartmouth has been hospitalized.
The Liberal caucus issued a statement Sunday to say Allan Rowe is recovering in hospital following a medical procedure.
Liberal spokesman Nick Cox says he cannot confirm if it was a planned procedure or how long the recovery is expected to take.
The Liberals say they expect Rowe, who is a backbencher, to go back to work once his health improves.
Rowe was elected in 2013 following a career as a television broadcaster.
