Halifax police have identified a cab driver they say may have valuable information in the disappearance of Loretta Saunders.

On Saturday police asked for the public’s help in identifying a cab driver who may have been in front of an apartment building on the last day she was seen.

According to police, the cab driver will be questioned by the RCMP’S Major Crime Unit.

Saunders car was found earlier this week near Windsor, Ontario.

Ontario Provincial Police arrested 25-year-old Blake Leggette and 28-year-old Victoria Henneberry on Tuesday.

On Friday the pair appeared in a Windsor court and are now being held in custody for six days to give Nova Scotia authorities time to bring them to Halifax.

Saunders' sister, Delilah Terriak, made an emotional public plea on Friday for information about her sister’s disappearance.

While the investigation continues, volunteers helping with the search say they'll do all they can to help find Loretta.

Annie Clair is among the supporters going door to door collecting donations for the family.

"We need donations for the family, when they arrive - she had a big family, her parents, she has brothers," says volunteer Annie Clair

Saunders is a student at Saint Mary’s University.

One of her professors says he’s been in contact with her family.

He says two of her brothers and an uncle have already arrived in Halifaxand her parents are making arrangements to join them.

Saunders was last seen at her apartment building on February 13th.
