Halifax Regional Police have identified two women from photos released Thursday in connection with suspicious circumstances at Mic Mac Mall on August 10.
A relative of each of the women contacted police and provided the required information to allow them to continue the investigation. One of those relatives was watching CTV News when she made the discovery, and quickly called police.
Police are still trying to identify the women in the teal dress, whose face has been obscured to protect her privacy. Police say she, like the other two women, is not a suspect or person of interest.
Police are giving few details, but say this is part of an ongoing investigation. Police do not believe any of the women are in danger, and say they do not believe the public is in danger, either.
