Man in custody after shots fired in Dartmouth: police

A man is in custody after shots were fired in Dartmouth, N.S., on Sunday.

Halifax Regional Police said in a media release that they were on scene of a weapons offense on Valkyrie Crescent around 12:52 p.m.

Police said several shots were fired into a parked car.

There were no injuries and police say a male was arrested moments later.

The man will appear in Dartmouth provincial court on Monday.
