A Halifax Regional Police officer accused of sexual assault is facing additional charges after he was accused of drinking outside of his Eastern Passage home this past summer.
Const. Chris Mosher, 30, has been charged with two counts of breaching a court undertaking by drinking outside his residence.
Police say the charges relate to an incident on July 7 after RCMP received a complaint.
Mosher, a four-year member of the force, is due to appear in Dartmouth provincial court on Nov. 20.
Last month, Mosher was charged with two counts of breaching a court undertaking after he was accused of drinking outside of his home and being in the presence of a woman who is not a relative.
Those charges were related to an incident alleged to have occurred in Lunenburg on Aug. 22.
Mosher was also charged in February with sexual assault and administering a noxious thing with intent to aggrieve after an alleged incident in November.
Nova Scotia’s Serious Incident Response Team started investigating Mosher after receiving a complaint from a woman who said a police officer had sexually assaulted her.
He is due in court for that case on June 17 for a preliminary inquiry.
Mosher remains suspended from the Halifax Regional Police without pay or benefits.
