GLACE BAY - “It’s a Working Man I am,” a Rita MacNeil classic, was playing tonight for all working women who gathered together for a Mother’s Day dinner at Glace Bay’s ‘Savoy Theatre.”
Jonathan MacInnis performed the song live for all the mothers in the room, but there was one special lady he was truly singing his heart out for – his mother Marg MacInnis.
It was an event to reflect on everything mothers do for their children.
Despite major renovations that are still ongoing at the Savoy, the show certainly went on.
