New Brunswick RCMP are investigating the sudden death of a 53-year-old Irishtown man, whose body was found near a snowmobile trail Sunday.
RCMP responded to a report of an unresponsive man near the ATV trail off Irishtown’s Cape Breton Road around 11 p.m.
Members of the Moncton Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick assisted police in reaching the scene, which was only accessible by ATV.
Police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
An autopsy has been ordered to determine a cause of death, but police say foul play is not suspected.
The investigation is ongoing.
