HALIFAX -- The Nova Scotia NDP says one of its members who suddenly became ill at the legislature on Monday is expected to be released from hospital today.
In an email caucus communications manager Jenn Cotterill says Jim Boudreau was held in hospital for observation and was resting comfortably.
Boudreau was awake as paramedics carried him from the legislative chamber to the ambulance outside.
The cause of Boudreau's illness hasn't been released.
Boudreau represents the riding of Guysborough-Sheet Harbour.
