HALIFAX -- Nick Jennery is the new executive director of Feed Nova Scotia.

The organization made the announcement Wednesday morning. Jennery will replace Dianne Swinemar, who will retire at the end of July.

“Feed Nova Scotia has been a home to me for almost 25 years, you don’t just walk away from the position lightly,” said Swinermar in a news release. “Knowing that the organization will be in capable hands is extremely reassuring.”

Swinemar announced her intention to retire in April of last year.

Feed Nova Scotia says Jennery has more than 30 years of leadership experience with national and provincial associations and in the food industry, including the Winery Association of Nova Scotia.

Jennery will begin on July 21.
