FREDERICTON - Protesters of Fredericton's occupy movement took to the streets today in support of a proposed bank tax to benefit school programs. Soon, they too may need support.

With Remembrance Day approaching in less than two weeks, the occupiers of Halifax's Grand Parade Square have been asked to leave by November 6. Their decision is expected Monday.

Ryan McKenna, a participant of Halifax's occupy movement, is optimistic about what he considers a peaceful and cooperative negotiation process with the city. Others, such as Ryan Sutton in Fredericton, are concerned if occupiers leave their camps, they may not be allowed to return.

"Mayor Brad Woodside was out here discussing about being at another location," says Sutton. "He suggested the gazebo in front of UNB, which of course is something we wouldn't want. We're not going to be noticed there."

Fredericton's occupy camp is currently set up right outside city hall because of the traffic that frequents the space. While local police and politicians have no plans to move the group anytime soon, the imminent winter weather may force occupiers to rethink things.
