Police in the Halifax area are worried a woman reported missing last month may be in danger.
Reita Louise Jordan, 34, was last seen by her friends in Halifax on March 19.
She was reported missing about a week-and-a-half later and has not been seen or heard from since.
“Miss Jordan’s normal course of activity is, she likes to text her family and friends, a lot of social media type of stuff, and that has all ceased,” says RCMP Cpl. Scott MacRae.
The missing persons file has been handed over to major crimes investigators.
Jordan is described as a white woman with medium-length dark hair. She is five-foot-six, weighs 123 pounds, and often wears hoop earrings.
Police say she has a heart-shaped tattoo on her left bicep, heart on her left chest and tribal tattoo on her ankle.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police.
