Police have left Halifax’s Grand Parade, after restricting access to the area to investigate an unattended package.
A small backpack was left unattended in the public space outside Halifax city hall.
Halifax Regional Police were stationed at entrance ways to prevent people from entering the area on Tuesday afternoon.
The police bomb unit was called in to investigate the package.
