Halifax Regional Police are searching for a couple after a woman was allegedly robbed while sitting on Citadel Hill.
Police say a man in his mid-20s approached a woman who was sitting in front of the Halifax Town Clock on Citadel Hill. They say the man demanded the victim to give him all the money she was carrying while a female companion waiting on the side.
The victim gave the suspect a quantity of cash and the man and female companion left the area on foot.
Police describe the suspect as a white man, five feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 170 pounds with a slim build and a buzz cut. He was wearing a white round neck t-shirt and dark coloured shorts.
The only description of the female was that she had dark hair in a ponytail.
No weapons were used in the incident and the victim was not injured.
