Halifax police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Lower Sackville woman.

Monika “Mikki” Selig, 26, was last seen leaving a friend’s home on Best Street in Dartmouth around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

She was reported missing after she failed to return to her Lower Sackville home.

Police say there is no evidence to suggest Selig has met with foul play, but there are concerns for her well-being as she has a medical condition that requires ongoing treatment and medications.

Selig is described as a white woman with blue eyes and black hair. She is five-foot-six with a medium build.

She was last seen wearing a white tank top, black sweater and multi-coloured pants.

Police say she is known to frequent the Spring Garden Road area.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police.
