Halifax Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a two-year-old homicide.

Matthew Thomas Sudds was last seen alive the afternoon of Oct. 10, 2013.

Police say the body of the 24-year-old man was found in a ditch along Africville Road in Halifax four days later.

An autopsy confirmed Sudds had been the victim of a shooting and his death was ruled a homicide.

Police believe there are people who have information about Sudds’ death who have not come forward.

The homicide is part of the Justice Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in certain cases.

Anyone with information about Sudds’ death is asked to contact police.
