Halifax Regional Police are still searching for answers in the murder of 24-year-old Matthew Thomas Sudds a year after his death.

Sudds’ body was found in the ditch along Africville Road in Halifax shortly after noon on Oct. 14, 2013.

Police say his death was ruled a homicide.

Sudds was last seen alive by friends in Halifax the afternoon of Oct. 10. Investigators determined he was shot and killed on Africville Road later that day.

His case was added to Nova Scotia’s Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes program in April. The program offers up to $150,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in certain cases.

Police are asking anyone with information about Sudds’ death to come forward.
