ELMSDALE, N.S. -- Police have identified a Halifax area man killed after his motorcycle collided with a tractor trailer.
Sixty-three-year-old Ronald Edward McNeil was a resident of Lower Sackville.
Police say Sunday's accident occurred on Highway 102 near Elmsdale.
RCMP say McNeil's motorcycle was headed south when he lost control and was then hit by the tractor trailer travelling in the same direction.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident forced the closure of the highway for several hours.
