The RCMP are investigating after 1,400 pounds of live lobster were stolen from a wharf on Nova Scotia’s Morris Island.

Police say 14 crates of lobster were taken from a secure compound at the Morris Island Wharf sometime between 5 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Each crate contained about 100 pounds of lobster.

The RCMP are asking anyone with information about the theft to contact them.
