A pair of thieves took advantage of Kijiji to rob a man in Dartmouth Tuesday night.
Police responded to a robbery complaint in the area of Lacomb Drive and Gaston Road at approximately 9:20 p.m.
Police say a 25-year-old man met the two suspects to sell piece of jewelry he had advertised on Kijiji.
The victim told police that once he handed over the item, the suspects sprayed him with an unknown substance and fled the scene on foot.
The victim was treated and released at the scene.
Police officers and a K9 unit searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
Police are still investigating.
