Six people from an extended family are temporarily homeless after a fire at a bungalow between Summerside and Kensington, P.E.I.
No one was injured in the fire but officials say the blaze caused extensive smoke and water damage to the home.
The fire displaced a man and woman who are staying with friends for now. The Red Cross also arranged for emergency clothing purchases for them in addition to emergency lodging, food and clothing for the woman’s mother, son and two grandchildren.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
