HALIFAX - Three young men are charged with robbery and weapons offences after two women complained about being robbed at gunpoint at a Halifax hotel.
Police say they received a call for help from the Atlantica hotel on Robie Street around 3 a-m.
They say a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman told police that when they responded to a knock at their door, three males barged in, one of them carrying a handgun.
Investigators say the 16-year-old was hit in the face by one of the men, but she was not seriously injured.
Police say the men took electronic items from the room.
Halifax Regional Police say they believe the older woman may know the men, who were described as an 18, 21 and 25 years old -- and all from the Halifax area.
