Two men and a woman are facing charges after an early morning robbery on Primrose Street in Dartmouth.
Halifax Regional Police say the robbery happened inside an apartment around 4:45 a.m.
Police say a 27-year-old man had arranged to meet a woman at the apartment around 4 a.m. They were met by two masked men inside, police say.
The victim told police that the men were carrying knives, and one had what was believed to be a gun in his waistband.
Police say the suspects took a sum of money and some personnel items, then ordered the man to leave.
Police say the victim called police from another location. There were no injuries and police do not believe it was a random act.
The four men and two women inside the apartment were arrested by officers at 6:30 a.m. following a brief standoff. Two men and a woman were released without charges.
Officers executed a search warrant of the apartment Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a 21 and 23-year-old man, along with a 19-year-old woman have been charged with one count each of robbery with a firearm and conspiracy to commit robbery.
The men have also been charged with disguise with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats and two counts each of carrying a concealed weapon.
All three are scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court Thursday.
