Police in Saint John have arrested a 53-year-old man in connection with a homicide in the city’s south end.
Officers were called to investigate a suspicious death at a residence on Carmarthen Street on Sunday.
Police remained on scene for several hours before determining the person had been the victim of a homicide.
Investigators have not released the name, age or gender of the victim.
Few other details have been released at this time but a man is in custody.
A news conference has been called for 12:30 p.m. Monday. Police say they expect to release more information at that time.
