Wanted Shelburne County man arrested for assault, forcible confinement: N.S. RCMP

Police say a wanted man from Lower Clarks Harbour, N.S., has been arrested.

Steven Edward Goreham, 54, is facing a number of charges including but not limited to:

  • assault
  • forcible confinement
  • assault by choking
  • uttering threats (two counts)
  • mischief
  • resisting a peace officer
  • break and enter (two counts)
  • failure to comply with release conditions (16 counts)
  • failure to comply with probation order

Police say the above charges stem from multiple incidents, including a break-and-enter that led to an increased police presence in Clark’s Harbour on Monday.

In a Thursday morning news release, police said Goreham has been located and arrested.

No details about his arrest were released.
