ALBERT BRIDGE, N.S. -- Police divers in Nova Scotia have located the body of a Cape Breton man reported missing Sunday night.

Cape Breton Regional Police say 57-year-old Cyril Lahey was last seen in an aluminum boat on the Mira River in the Albert Bridge area.

Divers recovered his body around 3:30 p.m. on Monday after the boat was located earlier.

Staff Sgt. Paul Muise says the man had not been wearing a life jacket.

Muise says police are not suspecting foul play but are awaiting the results of an autopsy.

Police set up a command post at the Mira River Provincial Park during the search that involved fire crews, the Canadian Coast Guard and a search and rescue team.
