HALIFAX -- A Nova Scotia Supreme Court judge has adjourned a bail review hearing for a Dalhousie medical student accused of murdering a fellow student.
The lawyer for William Sandeson is seeking a review of a judge's decision last October to deny him bail.
Eugene Tan says some of the information provided to Justice Jamie Campbell at the original bail hearing was revealed to be "unreliable" in a subsequent preliminary hearing.
All evidence before the court is protected by a routine publication ban.
Campbell is expected to rule whether he will hear new evidence on the issue May 25.
Sandeson was charged with the first-degree murder of Taylor Samson on Aug. 20, 2015 and ordered to stand trial on March 29 following the preliminary hearing.
