Halifax police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Dartmouth woman.
Donna Lee Sweeny, 45, was last seen around noon Sunday.
Police say she left her Second Street home to visit a friend on Lakecrest Drive but she never arrived.
Police say there is no evidence Sweeny has met with foul play, but they are concerned for her well-being as she suffers from a medical condition and requires daily medication.
They also say it is out of character for her to be out of contact with friends and family.
Sweeny is described as a white woman with brown eyes, short black hair and black-rimmed glasses. She is five-foot-six and weighs 180 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a black winter jacket and beige boots.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police.
