HALIFAX -- Police say one of two people arrested following the disappearance of a university student will appear in a Halifax court on Tuesday.
Const. Pierre Bourdages says 25-year-old Blake Leggette was brought back to Halifax from Windsor, Ont., on Sunday and will face a vehicle theft charge.
Ontario Provincial Police arrested Leggette and 28-year-old Victoria Henneberry after officers found a car owned by 26-year-old Loretta Saunders last week near Windsor.
Bourdages says Halifax police plan to bring Henneberry back on the same arrest warrant by Thursday.
A provincial court document filed by Halifax police alleges the pair stole the 2000 Toyota Celica that belongs to Saunders.
Saunders, a Saint Mary's University student, was last seen on the morning of Feb. 13 in the Cowie Hill Road area of Halifax.
