FREDERICTON -- One man is dead and another person injured after a collision Tuesday between two skiers at the Crabbe Mountain ski hill in central New Brunswick.
RCMP Cpl. Chantal Farrah said police and paramedics were called to the hill in Central Hainesville shortly after 11 a.m.
She said the two skiers collided at the bottom of a hill.
Farrah said the injured skier is expected to recover from their injuries.
"Because there was no criminal element in this .... the investigation has been handed over to WorksafeNB and the coroner's office," she said in an interview.
Officials at Crabbe Mountain declined comment.
Postings on the ski hill's Facebook page said two runs -- Dave's Dream and Greg's Way -- were closed for a few hours Tuesday afternoon, but had reopened.
