The RCMP say a missing West Jeddore, N.S. man has been found dead.
Wayne Leonard Baker, 61, left his West Jeddore Road home before 9 a.m. Sunday. His wife reported him missing Monday when he failed to return home.
Police and ground search and rescue teams, as well as the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources, have been searching the West Jeddore area since Monday.
Police said thick trees, rock and bogs sometimes hampered their search, but that Baker enjoyed the outdoors and was familiar with the terrain.
Searchers located Baker’s body in Goose Lake, West Jeddore shortly after 10 a.m. Thursday. The lake is roughly 1.5 kilometres from his home.
Foul play is not suspected in his death.
