Police and fire crews responded to an overturned propane truck on Highway #1 in southern New Brunswick this morning.
The accident occurred in the Prince of Wales area, about 10 kilometres west of Saint John, around 9:30 a.m.
“There was a single vehicle rollover…the driver was out by the time we got here and we’re just doing traffic control now,” said Gilles Arsenault, captain of the Musquash Fire Department Monday morning.
“The City of Saint John Fire Department is here too. We’re just standing by so that the tow truck people can upright the vehicle.”
It appears the driver of the truck lost control and rolled into the median. He wasn’t injured.
Fire officials say propane did not leak from the vehicle.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
