Halifax Regional Police have ruled out foul play in the death of a 39-year-old woman whose body was found in her home Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to the home in the 5800 block of Almon Street around 1 p.m. They found the woman's body inside.
Investigators have identified the woman but are not releasing her name at this time.
Initially, police said the woman’s death was considered suspicious, but now they say foul play is not suspected.
An autopsy was conducted Monday morning but police say further testing is required to determine a cause of death.
The incident remains under investigation.
