Police are investigating a case of arson after they discovered a burned-out van in the north end of Halifax Thursday evening.
Officers responded to an auto repair shop on Maynard Street before 10 p.m. after receiving a report that a vehicle was on fire.
Police believe the fire was deliberately set.
They say the van is badly burned. There was also minor fire damage to the building.
No one was injured.
Police have seized the van for further examination. The fire remains under investigation.
