Inverness District RCMP is asking for the public’s help after a number of weapons, including a crossbow, were stolen from a home in Cape Breton last week.
Police say someone broke into the home on General Line Road in Creignish Rear, N.S. sometime between Thursday and Friday.
Police say the following items were taken from the home:
- Green and black Easton crossbow
- Weatherby 270 magnum rifle with scope
- Savage .22-calibre rifle and scope
- 1967 .303 Winchester lever action rifle
- 12-gauge Weatherby pump action shotgun
- Cooey 12-gauge single-shot break-barrel shotgun
- Ranger .22-calibre long rifle
- 1912 Remington model 22 pump-action long rifle
- Green metal eight-gun cabinet
- Champion 5500-6250 watt gas generator
- Container of various types of ammunition
No arrests have been made. Police are asking anyone with information about the thefts to contact them.
