A dog reported missing from Porters Lake, N.S. has reunited with her rightful owners after being found in Prince Edward Island.
Police started investigating Monday after receiving a tip that a dog stolen from Porters Lake was now in the Summerside area.
Summerside Police were able to confirm that the dog in question was in fact stolen and officers found the two-year-old pitbull at a home on Jennifer Street.
Isabelle, or Izzy, was turned over to police and returned to her rightful owners later that day.
Police say the people that turned Izzy over were not responsible for taking her and the investigation is ongoing.
