Three men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 34-year-old Campbellton man who police say was “violently assaulted.”
New Brunswick RCMP responded to a report of a badly-injured man in a residential area near Dover Street around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The man sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the Moncton Hospital. He succumbed to his injuries later that day.
Police say they are investigating the man’s death as a homicide.
Two men were arrested Thursday and one man was arrested Friday in connection with the incident. They remain in custody. There is no word on charges at this time.
