The RCMP say two teens are facing several charges in connection with an alleged armed robbery in Cole Harbour, N.S.
Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery in the area of Shrewsbury Road around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Investigators say a woman was robbed of prescription medication by two males at gunpoint.
The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle and police quickly surrounded a Cole Harbour home.
The suspects surrendered to police a short time later. Four male teens and two female teens were arrested and taken into custody, but only two are facing charges.
Officers executed a search warrant at the home and seized a sawed-off .22-calibre rifle, a sawed-off shotgun and two replica 9mm handguns.
Kyle Joseph Boudreau, 18, and a 17-year-old youth are facing numerous robbery and weapons charges.
Boudreau is due to appear in Dartmouth provincial court Thursday afternoon while the youth will be appearing in Halifax youth court.
