The case of a Nova Scotia woman charged with impaired driving causing the death of her daughter has been put over to June.

Candice Roxanne Moore, 31, of Pleasantville did not appear in Bridgewater provincial court today. Her lawyer says she “requires more time to address her options.”

Moore is also charged with criminal negligence causing death, dangerous driving causing death and refusing to comply with the demand for a breath sample.

The charges come after the death of nine-year-old Olive Moore, who died after she was struck by a van on Jan. 19.

Police say the girl had just been dropped off near a relative’s home in Pleasantville when the van backed over her on Corkum Division.

She was taken to the South Shore Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The case has been adjourned until June 19.
