CHESTER BASIN, NS - Nova Scotia RCMP are now calling the death of a 57-year-old woman a homicide.
Her body was discovered inside a home on Friday morning. Police initially called it a suspicious death.
Police will not reveal her identity or how she died. The body has been transported to Halifax where an autopsy will be performed.
The Major Crime Unit is asking those who noticed anything unusual in the Chester Basin area from Thursday afternoon or evening to contact them.
