SPRINGDALE, N.L. -- A house fire in northern Newfoundland has resulted in a death.
Springdale RCMP say the house fire on Main Street in Springdale was reported on Thursday.
The individual was found dead inside the home.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire and the office of the province's chief medical examiner has been notified.
