A Fredericton teen is fighting for her life after she was struck by a vehicle in Douglas, N.B. Saturday night.

Police say the 15-year-old girl was walking with the flow of traffic along Route 105 when she was hit by a car shortly after 9:30 p.m.

She was taken to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and later transferred to the Saint John Regional Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Police are still investigating the incident.
