HALIFAX - A Halifax brewery says it's brewing a new beer that's out of this world.
Garrison Brewing says it's set to release a new Star Trek-themed beer called Klingon Warnog Roggen Dunkel Ale.
The company says the brew has a deep reddish, brown colour and uses authentic weizen ale yeast to give aromas of cloves and banana.
Brian Titus of Garrison Brewing says it will launch the beer on Friday at the brewery.
He says the release of the Star Trek beer comes just in time for Hal-Con, an annual sci-fi convention in Halifax happening this weekend.
