Halifax Regional Police are trying to identify a suspect after a woman says she was sexually assaulted by a taxi driver.
Police say the taxi driver picked up the 25-year-old female passenger in the area of Grafton Street and Blowers Street around 1 a.m. Saturday.
Police allege the man touched the woman in a sexual manner before dropping her off at her requested destination.
The incident was reported to police on Monday.
Police are still trying to identify the suspect, who is described as a Middle Eastern man in his late 30s.
