A young man is facing charges after a woman was stabbed in Dartmouth early Wednesday.
Police say a delivery person was approached by a woman who was bleeding from her back on Wyse Road around 12:45 am. She said she had been stabbed.
Police were called to the scene and the 31-year-old victim told officers she had been stabbed during a confrontation on Primrose Street.
She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers and a K9 unit searched the area but failed to locate the suspects.
Police executed a search warrant at an apartment on Primrose Street around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday.
A 23-year-old woman and 18-year-old man were taken into custody. The woman has since been released without charges.
The man faces charges of assault with a weapon.
