A 50-year-old man is in hospital with serious burns after an incident in Beaver Bank, N.S. Tuesday morning.
RCMP say the man was clearing land at the Lost Creek Golf Course before 8:30 a.m. when he poured accelerant on some brush.
It quickly became engulfed in flame and the man’s clothing caught on fire.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre with serious burns.
Police say the matter has been turned over to the Department of Labour and Advanced Education for further investigation.
