A 34-year-old Moncton man has died after he was struck by a train early this morning.
Codiac Regional RCMP responded to the collision near the intersection of Queen and Lutz streets in Moncton before 6 a.m.
They say the man was hit by an eastbound freight train and taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Police are investigating the incident but don’t suspect foul play.
The victim’s name will not be released.
