MONCTON, N.B. -- A central New Brunswick couple is celebrating a big lottery win.

The Atlantic Lottery Corporation says Jean-Yves Doiron and his wife Barbara had the winning ticket in Saturday's Atlantic 49 draw, worth $1-million.

They picked up their winnings yesterday in Moncton.

Jean-Yves Doiron says he plans to buy a bright red truck and a new vehicle for his wife.

He says he also plans on taking a hunting trip to Quebec.

The corporation says the winning ticket was sold at Anne's Convenience in Boiestown, N.B. -- where the Doirons live.
