Police believe alcohol is a contributing factor in a two-vehicle crash that killed a New Brunswick woman last night.
RCMP responded to the collision on Killam Drive in Moncton before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
They say the woman was travelling eastbound on Killam Drive when her car collided head on with a westbound vehicle near the intersection of Edinburgh Drive.
Police say the 36-year-old Berry Mills woman, and lone occupant of the vehicle, was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 41-year-old Lakeville man, had to be extracted from his car.
He was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries. A passenger in the vehicle also sustained undetermined injuries.
Police say alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash and charges against the driver are expected.
